Performance Improvements

Screen Builder

The Screen Builder has been optimized for peak efficiency. Enhanced resource management and streamlined file structuring make it more responsive than ever, ensuring a smoother process-building experience for designers.

  • Optimized File Loading: Reduced file size and improved speed make screen loading approximately 20% faster, providing a more seamless experience when building and modifying screens.

  • Server-Side Caching: Implementation of caching accelerates screen loading, cutting load times by around 25%. This optimization significantly improves responsiveness, particularly for frequently accessed screens.

Cases & Tasks Lists

The Cases and Tasks List have been optimized for faster loading and smoother task management. These improvements allow participants to quickly access and complete their work with minimal delays.

  • Optimized File Loading: Performance enhancements reduce load times by 20%, enabling faster navigation and improved efficiency.

  • Server-Side Caching: Implementing caching in the Tasks Menu reduces load times by 25%, ensuring a more seamless and responsive workflow for managing tasks.

In-Flight Process Map

The in-flight process map is now faster and smoother. Experience quicker load times with reduced delays when viewing the map in cases and requests. A new indicator now displays the process map's loading status, improving user experience.

These performance improvements help create a faster, more efficient, and responsive user experience across the platform.

Fixes

  • File Manager & PDF Viewer: The ID of a file is now correctly displayed in the File Manager, and the PDF viewer can be resized, resolving previous display and usability issues.

  • Saved Search Charts: Fixed an issue where custom datetime columns using fields data._request.created_at and data._request.updated_at, display an invalid date in Saved Search List Charts. The columns now display the correct dates.

  • Saved Search Reports: Corrected the Last Sent date in scheduled reports for saved searches to display in the user's time zone instead of UTC.

  • Project Imports: Fixed an issue that prevented importing projects larger than 20MB. The maximum allowed size for project uploads is now configurable in the internal variable PROJECT_IMPORT_MAX_SIZE. Note: Contact ProcessMaker Support to configure the PROJECT_IMPORT_MAX_SIZE variable.

  • Session Inactivity Warning: The session inactivity warning now appears at the time correct time, resolving an issue where it triggered even when a user was active.

  • Process Testing: Changes made in the Data tab during process testing are now correctly saved and reflected in the test, resolving an earlier issue where updates were not being retained.
