# SSO - Microsoft Settings

Configure SSO settings for Microsoft.

## Configure Microsoft SSO Settings

**Permissions**

Furthermore, your user account or group membership must have the "Settings: Update Settings" permission to edit SSO SAML settings unless your user account has the **Make this user a Super Admin** setting selected.

See the [Settings](/v1/docs/permission-descriptions-for-users-and-groups#description-of-platform-permissions ) permissions or ask your Administrator for assistance.

The following information is required to configure SSO with Microsoft:

- Client ID
- Client Secret

To generate or locate your Microsoft client ID and client secret, refer to [Register an app in the Microsoft identity platform](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/quickstart-register-app).

Microsoft SSO configuration

Configure the following Microsoft SSO settings as necessary:

1. ​[Configure your SSO Settings](/v1/docs/sso-settings#configure-sso-saml-settings).
2. From the list of SSO identity providers, select the **Microsoft** option. The **SSO - Microsoft** panel displays.

3. Click the **Edit** icon ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2d311614-fcb7-4424-8b4c-d4d3091eebeb/Images/Documentation/28831a35-5a61-454c-9516-a5decb0e3624.png) for the **Client ID** setting. The **Client ID** screen displays.

4. Enter your Microsoft client ID, and then click **Save.**
5. Click the **Edit** icon ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2d311614-fcb7-4424-8b4c-d4d3091eebeb/Images/Documentation/28831a35-5a61-454c-9516-a5decb0e3624.png) for the **Client Secret** setting. The **Client Secret** screen displays.

6. Enter your Microsoft client secret, and then click **Save**
7. Use the copy icon ![](https://cdn.document360.io/2d311614-fcb7-4424-8b4c-d4d3091eebeb/Images/Documentation/3aae0d87-080d-476a-a867-9a1e7ab2425e.png) to copy the URL from the **Redirect** setting, and then provide it in your Microsoft application settings.
